Amorphous. The chumoi spawn can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing.
Aura of Pestilence. A noxious aura of gases surrounds the chumoi in a 120-foot radius that spreads around corners. Any creature that enters the aura for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or become disoriented for 1 hour. A creature that succeeds on the save is immune to the Aura of Pestilence of all chumois for 24 hours. A creature is unaffected by the aura if it holds its breath or doesn’t need to breathe. A disoriented creature has disadvantage on Wisdom and Intelligence checks and can’t maintain concentration on a spell. If a disoriented creature casts a spell that requires concentration, it spends its action without casting the spell, but the spell slot isn’t expended.
Contagious Blight. A creature that isn’t a construct or undead that touches the chumoi, hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it, or that the chumoi hits with a melee attack must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or contract chumoi rot.
Noxious Health. The chumoi is immune to disease.
Sticky Flesh. The chumoi can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Pseudopod. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 10 (3d6) poison damage.
Consume Carcass. The chumoi consumes a dead creature within 5 feet of it, making the corpse a part of itself, and instantly regains 30 hit points.
