For those of you brave enough to look closer, past what lies on the surface, another world will be revealed before your very eyes, a monstrous miscellany come to life! However, danger lies in the seductive guise of the supernatural, so, dear adventurer, trust not your senses but the knowledge we provide!

Avir

The аvir are deathless sentinels bound in eternal servitude to guard ancient tombs, crypts, or sacred reliquaries. In life, the аvir were ardent servants devoted to a cause - be it a righteous or a nefarious one, vowing to serve it even in death. Their oath enables their essence, channeled through a magical symbol, to remain eternally on the mortal plane as guardians.

An avir cannot be stopped by ordinary means, only delayed. Their burning oath, sworn in life, brings them back time and time again, reassembling their remains until their task is completed. Once the threat has been dealt with, the avir return to rest, continuing on with their timeless vigil.

Chumoi

Brewed by heinous magic, these formless and ferocious creatures are saturated with infections, disease, and blight. Chumoi are a roaming and ever-growing plague pile of decomposing corpses, bursting with every manner of contagious pestilence. The chumoi has but one purpose in its godforsaken, mephitic existence: consume dead flesh.

On its gluttonous path it grows, contaminating the living before consuming their corpses. The foul stench of death, disease, and decomposition accompanies chumoi through the caverns, tunnels, towns, and villages where they roam, bringing plague by simply passing through.

Dvorkin

These fey spirits are born in the wild, though it isn’t uncommon for some to migrate to humanoid societies, often unnoticed due to their magical animal guise. A dvorkin has a small but lithe furry body, and its attitude resembles that of a child. It is usually friendly toward others, especially if they display kindness. If a creature is hostile toward the dvorkin, it returns the favor in its own wild fey fashion.

Dvorkins may bond with a house’s owners if treated kindly, protecting their abodes and families. The dvorkin has extraordinarily sharp senses, surpassing most humanoids in sensitivity and acuteness. They can even peer beyond the natural veil, keeping clueless humanoids safe from the supernatural.

YOU'VE FOUND A WILD DORKIN

Leshy

An ancient fey spirit and the very embodiment of a forest, the leshy possesses old and powerful magic derived straight from the endless life force of the Great Cycle. The leshy views its duty as guardian of the forest with utter responsibility, pride and joy, and forest travelers must be mindful of its presence, as the shepherd of the woodland watches each and every footstep. It is an unpredictable creature of impulse and chaos, a sentient aspect of nature itself - evershifting and multifaceted. It can take any shape and form, from a tiny critter to the tallest of trees.

One would imagine that such a wise and eternal creature would be completely beyond mortal understanding. However, simple pleasures are not unfamiliar to the leshy. It might be bathing under the warm summer sun, enjoying the light breeze on its fur, having a round

of drinks and singing with satyrs or chasing squirrels around ceaselessly. Many people tell tales of gambling with peculiar folk in the deep forests and winning strange magical fruit, believing they have just met a leshy.

Polevik

The polevik is a feisty and hateful creature with thick skin - quite literally, as its body is made of stone and dirt, with grass and grains growing out of it. These creatures were once mortal, but were cursed for their greed and banished from the forests, the mountains, and their deep caverns full of natural riches. Left to endlessly scour the fields, their bodies slowly became one with the land. Now, they are known as the poleviks - spiteful spirits of the fields that ruin crops and brawl with anyone who tries to stop their malicious pranks.

Samodiva

The samodiva is an alluring fey creature that embodies the tranquility and gentleness of nature and, at the same time, its raw passion and wildness. She is known to bestow her wisdom and charms upon those who respect her and her forest. However, she is quick to unleash her unscrupulous ire onto those who neglect her beauty or threaten her domain.

They are frivolous and carefree creatures that value their freedom dearly. The samodivi are driven by emotion and whims, thus meeting this fey could range from a pleasant surprise to a deadly argument. People often tell stories of gatherings where samodivi bathe under the moonlight and dance in circles all night. Oh, do samodivi love to sing and dance!

Skrzak

What was once a pure being is now a demonic abomination that does the dirty work of greater fiends. Corrupted and malformed through a twisted and torturous ritual, skrzaks roam in packs and spread chaos, murder, and destruction. Their maniacal laughter echoes the contagious corruption that fills their wicked minds.

Talasum

The talasum is a true child of Chernobog. This cunning fiend is an agent of chaos, malice, and deception. Its sole purpose is to haunt the living, dousing the light in their souls and plunging their lives into a spiral of misery and corruption.

The talasum is born out of a shadow, and, naturally, this makes it a terrifying opponent. It can use the darkness around it as a cover and manipulate the nearby shadows to confuse the minds of its opponents and sap their life force.

Topel

The topel is a malevolent undead creature, spurred by a violent death or a terrible curse. They reside in the waters of their own demise, transformed into vile beings driven by the despair of their last moments. However, the drowner's desire to cling to life is twisted: the topel holds on to the living until their last breath has expired, making its victim share the same horrible feeling of desperation, helplessness, and doom.

Vihrogon

The vihrogon’s name says much about this eminent stallion’s nature: it means “one who chases the wind.” Indeed, it is said to be the fastest mount one can ever hope to acquire. A vihrogon is a magnificent sight - running free, chasing the wind, untamable and unstoppable.

Enter a world of wonder and danger, where centuries-old forests teem with fey creatures and cosy settlements sleep while ravenous shadows prey upon the innocent in our new adventure- the Devil’s Bridge.
